It's been a mad month.
It is called November.
I am a Nanowrimo veteran.
I have done my job in the field.
Writing 50K words in 28 days.
It feels great, honestly. I achieve something that never achieve before, actually it's approximately 10K words more before its end, and I have a goal to finish this novel, it's very near to the end, and even though it is not as good as any published novels, but I write this by myself, in very short time too, and that's what I should be proud of, according to statistic, not even half of the nanowrimo member finish the nanowrimo.
I swear, next year I will aim for publishing book etc etc. But for now? It's a happiness to finish it.
I mean, reach 50K words.
I would like to say thanks to a few people/ things. My biggest supporter, honestly, is the old little blackberry that I have been using for these past 3 years. This guy help me to store my novel at docs to go, and sometimes I add some word count in my blackberry too. In the early days of nano I was writing relentlessly via blackberry, not using laptop almost at all, but I prefer using laptop from the halfway to the end of NaNo. So, without my blackberry, I dont think that this novel will reach 50K.
Secondly, to the most popular word processor that we all use, Microsoft Word. Thanks for being there, buddy. Thanks doing great job, I'm glad everything went well, no accident at all.
Third, to my bathroom. It's when I get my inspiration the most, the story, Death and All of His Friends was made because of my daydream at the bathroom, originally titled The Waltzing Death, but there's no dancing/waltzing scene plus that sounds like the walking death. Some scenes, I get the inspiration from the bathroom time, so thank you very much, bathroom.
Last, to the Internet. For every support at Nano, and then also research and everything, I will never reach this stage ever without internet. I just realised that this is one man project, I am thanking to the things, not the people. I hope this wont make me sounds like a forever alone.
Yes I did some dirty tricks like adding quotes, or song lyrics but I swear it is not even close to 1K words. I am a pure writer. Yes. But I know there's still a lot of flaw in this one, I'm not planning to publish it, not anywhere, not online nor anywhere. Because I think it have a lot of flaws, mostly grammatical flaws. I will do my best to rewrite it. but for now? I'll study for final test, and go back to the normal pace of living!
