Words to live, to admire.
My favorite one is John O'Callaghan's, singer of The Maine. Through his lyrics, his poems, even his tweets is something that is beautifully crafted, heart-to-heart and honest. I feel that I could relate to some of it, which makes it very precious for me.
I'm also trying to read some of the poetry by Jack Kerouac and Sylvia Plath, sometimes I prefer Sylvia Plath's though.
“I have the choice of being constantly active and happy or introspectively passive and sad. Or I can go mad by ricocheting in between”
— Sylvia Plath
“The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
— Sylvia Plath
(this one is my words to live, as it is written on John's chest, literally.)
(My recent favorite, as you notice, some of it was in a collection of a poem called Exaltation by John O'Callaghan)
